Avanami LTD is where we include vulnerable adults with learning and physical disabilities in varieties of social activities and events to boost wellbeing and foster social inclusion
Our Mission
To provide dignified Socialisation and Celebrations for people with Learning and physical Difficulties, through Weekly Disco nights and event planning services for birthdays and any other celebration.
Our Impact
Partneship with care and support service providers and local authorities:
we support adults living with disabilities from various care and support companies such as Plus, aurora nexus, choice support, independent personnel etc across 5 boroughs
Lewisham, Greenwich, Southwark, Croydon and Bromley.
We support service users living in supported living services, registered services, independent living in the community and those living in shared lives projects to explore social outdoor activities
Things We Do
Events planning
Friday Disco nights: A rented hall space is set up with a DJ booth, initially starting with a large speaker, tablet and a variety of music option played through music platforms such as Spotify, youtube and sound cloud. This will provide an opportunity for people with learning disabilities to meet, socialise and enjoy dancing, sharing refreshments and music.
Special event evenings
such as Halloween night, valentine night and festive celebrations is incorporated in to the Friday night disco Games, dancing competition, awards and theme nights are also included as varieties on our Friday Disco evening. We have yearly events such as day trips to the seaside during summer, we are in the process of exploring group travels such as weekend getaway or cruise during summer.
Employment and confidence building
We support Adults with disabilities to celebrate their birthdays, family gatherings, weddings or wakes. We have volunteers and some. of our clubbers are also volunteers which supports them gather experience and build confidence to navigate paid employment In Future
